Pre-School!

I can't believe Avery is going to Pre School!! I decided to send her at 3 yrs of age because I know she is ready. I chose Tri County Pre School/Training Center and picked her to go to Millersburg Elementary. My only concern was it is 2 full days 9am-2:45pm (Mon & Wed). The State requires a rest time of 45 mins. and I had a few other minor concerns so I had asked Miss Keely if I could bring Avery to see her classroom and meet her before the first day. So last Thurs. morning we headed up to the Millersburg Elementary School. What is also cool is Keely and Josh graduated together and I use to play with Keely's older sister a long time ago :)

I guess I dressed Avery perfectly :)

Avery didn't hesitate when she met Miss Keely, Avery asked to shake her hand and said "nice to meet you!" :) She also didn't hesitate on exploring the room!
Miss Keely showing Avery the play ground.

Doing puzzles.

Showing us where Avery's locker is. Avery didn't want to leave!
The BIG day arrives! Avery slept great.....from 9:30-8:10am!!!! She was SO excited this morning to go to school. She was however a little mad that she isn't riding a school bus!
It was to be 90 degrees today and I had a cute cotton sundress and flip flops but at 11:30 pm last night I remembered they had gym and Monday was gym day so I switched her outfit.

She is so proud of her backpack! I even got her a smaller one and it's still huge!

She then wanted to put on her sunglasses :) She's too cool for school!

She still looks sleepy but she was excited!

Walking up the stairs to her classroom.

Ready to go in! She told me she was going to give me a big bear hug and kiss because it was going to be a long day and I would miss her! I had to track her down and beg for a hug and kiss.....she could have cared less I was there - which is a good thing!

She headed straight for the table to play! I didn't even get teary eyed. I was excited and nervous for her.

When I picked her up she was so quiet and wanted to lay on the couch when we got home. Miss Keely said she had a great first day, she didn't sleep, raised her hand and waited her turn to talk (we've been working on that), didn't eat much lunch but the highlight was throwing it in the trash and LOVED the playground! She is mad because she can't go back tomorrow! I'm so glad and hope she keeps up the great attitude towards school!

So Un-Fair 2010!

Well I don't know why I dread the Fair....maybe because it's expensive and HOT!!! It was so hot and humid this year even at 5pm when we went. I could have easily skipped it but I knew Avery would love it.

Playing a game at the KSB booth!

Mimi and her flock :)

Going to check out the animals.

This chicken was sitting on a frozen water bottle - it was so hot they were trying to keep the animals cool.

All of the 4Her's were so nice and never complained about getting their animals out for the little ones to pet....we didn't even asked most just offered!

Once again Avery was NOT afraid of any animals and we survived another year w/o her getting bit. She just sticks her fingers in EVERY cage there!

Are ewe looking at me???!

So Miss fearless just walked right into the stalls of the cows! Thank goodness these were laying down but right beside her they were standing up! HOLY COW I was afraid she would get kicked!

Yes she is INSIDE the pen! This is our neighbor's granddaughter's little goat and Avery thought he was soooo cute.

After we ate we started off to see the rest of the animals and then we were going to let the kids ride. Miss Kaid (who is 5.5yrs) threw a terrible 2 tantrum and so Janna took the kids home, bathed them and put her to bed at 7:30pm. She texted us to see if we rode rides yet and we hadn't so Julia went home and stayed with Kaid and Janna brought Kason back down and he and Avery got some bonding time which was nice. Man maybe if I would have thrown a tantrum someone would have made me go home??? ;)

The first ride was the carousel. Some of the carnies were so nice they wouldn't take our tickets for the rides so instead of 4 rides we had bought for the kids they got to ride lots more.

Next was the toddler ferris wheel. Avery wanted to ride the big one but we stuck with the toddler one. Hi Mom!

They LOVED it!! I think Avery rode w/o getting off like 4x's!

It was getting dark and with the lights on the ride I couldn't get a clear picture so I made them black and white and seem to help them not look so blurry.

Look no hands!

They were stopped at the tippy top!!

Weeeeeeeeeeeee!

Then they rode the "choo-choo" train - Kason called it that. They weren't sure about it and then there were tears and then Avery loved it but not sure Kason ever really did.....poor guy!

Check out his face!

Again on the carousel.

The last ride was this Crazy Bus that Avery wanted to do. Even though she wasn't tall enough they let the kids on.....Kason started crying after this photo so Janna got him off and Avery rode all by herself and loved it! Janna still had tickets left so she rode with Kason and once it started going he loved it too!

Went way up in the air forwards and then backwards!

Avery's favorite were the ponies! My camera died so thank goodness Janna had hers :)

Friday the 13th...........

We had a great Friday the 13th!! Met the Brainard Girls at the Outlets in Lodi - did a little shopping, girls got to play but man was it hot!!

Riley's bib says it all! She was such a GOOD baby - didn't fuss the entire time!

Letting the girls run off some energy before we hit a few stores.

Off to shop! :)

Goofy girls in one stroller.

Yea a store had a TV!

After some shopping and lunch we treated the girls to a train ride. I'm pretty sure it was over 100 degrees in there!

Carrie, Payton and Riley

Avery and Mommy

Sweet Baby Riley!

Choo-Choo....All Aboard!

Like the beginning of the day, we let the girls end the day on the playground before heading home.

We were home for hour and half then headed to Stillwell, Ohio for "camping" and jeeping.

The lodge we stayed in. Doesn't look like much from this view but oh my was it gorgeous inside!

The porch that also wrapped around to the back of the lodge.

This is what you see when you walk in the dining/living room. The stairs and loft are to the left of this picture.

That is the main door.

View from kitchen.

The Kitchen.

The Main Bath ;) A bedroom was off of this as was the kitchen (I didn't take a picture of that bedroom).

Avery LOVED the tub - can't blame her??!

Upstairs bedroom. This is where we slept and yes we all slept in seperate beds! Felt like Goldie Locks and the 3 Bears :)

Our bathroom off of our room.

The loft.

View from the back of the lodge.

Mimi painted Avery's nails.

Our "camp fire" :)

Again our "camp fire" - yummmm s'mores!

Mimi reading Avery a bedtime story out on the porch.
Getting ready to head out on the trail the next day! Won't be long before Avery really is driving....yikes!

This is a view of our jeep meeting place.

Daddy navagating his way over the big rocks!

Now that's some flex!

Girls acting silly! Janna and Kids stopped on Sat. morning to hang out with Mimi while Pop-Pop, Avery and I rode some trails. Then around lunch we came back to the cabin so Avery could play with her cousins and get a nap!

Mr. Kason apparently thought he was a dog! :) Now that's one dog I wouldn't mind having! :)

Pop-Pop came back early too so he took all of out for a "trail ride" :)

The next day after Church (what circus that was! I saw I side of Mr. Kason I never knew existed! Oh my!) we went to Proper's to swim and play!

hahah both of them have their eyes closed!
