Spring or Summer??!

I was a little confused by the weather this weekend.......was is Spring or Summer??! I loved the nice weather but don't get me wrong I'm not ready for 86 degrees yet!!! We had some VERY beautiful days in a row though. Avery was in her glory. Today after Church she immediately wanted outside and that's where we stayed ALL day! About 2pm we took a drive to see some friends and they weren't there so we stopped at Mimi & Pop-Pop's to drop off some stuff and ended up there till 7pm, so I didn't have my camera with me :( Avery played and played and played either with the cats or water! Finally at 6pm Daddy's swooped her up and rocked her jokingly and she was out in no time flat and I woke her up at 7pm....she was too busy to take a nap today and I wasn't going to force her.....she usually is her pleasant self nap or no nap. We all got a little red today but it's all good!

So this is what she's been doing when she gets up in the morning.....puts her shoes on and says "outside or mimi-pop-pop's chase kitty!"

Avery's pretty toes that Mimi painted for her (1st time Avery's EVER had her toes painted!) She'll be playing and then stop and say "ohhh pretty toes!" The other day I figured out she was calling them pony tails!!!! That is also the same day I asked her who painted them and she said "The Easter Bunny!" Silly Avery.

I'm 22 months!

She got sunglasses from the Easter Bunny and wears them ALL the time....most of the times upside down! She got 4 pairs of them and always wants us to wear them too when we watch TV......good times :)

Easter!

We had a nice Easter. We all went to Church then to Proper's for a late lunch.

Mom had a terrible cold so Avery and I stopped in on Sat. on our walk to get her Easter Basket. She also got a basket from Mimi & Pop-Pop and of course the Easter Bunny!

She said "ohhhh what's that??!"

Avery was SO excited to know that the Easter Bunny came! She STILL talks about him (a week later) or if I ask who is coming to our house she says "The Easter Bunny!" Guess he made quite an impression.

I thought this was so cute Nat would get the blocks for Avery and Avery would build a tower. Now that's what I call teamwork!

April 16th:

I told the girls we'd go outside so Avery ran and put on Natalie's hat and shoes (on the wrong feet!) and yes Avery hates to have clothes on so I only let her take off either her pants or shirt!

Easter Egg Hunt!

On Saturday morning we headed to the Holmes County Trail for the Easter Egg Hunt. Despite the sun and beautiful blue sky it was cold!!! Me, Avery, Mom, Judy, Aila, Julia, Janna, Kaidrie, Kason, Beth, Leah, Megan and Clay all went.

The girls played together so well and wore each other out!! Not a lot of naps were had that weekend.
