Last Wed. my mom couldn't watch Avery so Julia offered and they rode to Columbus with Pop-Pop who had a meeting and the girls went to hang out with Randy, Kaid and Kason. This is a picture Randy sent me. I'm waiting on Julia's pictures from that day.
Then for one of Avery's Birthday gifts I got her tickets to Story Time Live. This was in the morning before heading to work and Nana's.
Then after work I picked Avery up and we headed to her BF's house, Natalie, since her and her mom were going too. Avery got to open another Bday gift. She LOVES her dress up shoes and her DVD, the Princess and the Frog! Thanks again Thorpe's.
The girls excited to leave! We had to head back to Columbus to the Palace Theater.
This was before the show started (her darn happy meal toy she wouldn't put down!) You weren't allowed to take ANY photos but I snuck in a few before and during intermission. There was this usher that I called the Picture Policeman....he was on anyone who were taking pictures! I got a kick out of watching him!
Jen and Natalie. Natalie didn't like Moose E. Moose but warmed up later in the show.
Having fun dancing during intermission.
Now Nat is really getting into it. Avery's favorite was Backyardigans and Nat's was Dora. They also had the Wonder Pets and Kai Lan. It was a pretty good show.
Then on Sunday it was back to Columbus (Avery's 3rd trip that week and my 2nd) for Mr. Kason's Birthday Party!
Soon to be 2! I can't believe you are going to be 2 Kason!
The girls, Kaid, Evanne and Avery chilling out in the pool. It was a beautiful day! Janna and Randy had so many fun things set up for the kids to do!
Avery's turn!
Isaiah's turn on the slip-n-slide.
Avery's turn!
Time for a drink!
I wish I would have waited....after this kiss he wiped it off so fast it was pretty funny!
Happy Birthday Mr. Kason. He wanted the truck so bad! I didn't get any good pics of Kason opening his presents so I may have to steal some from Janna.
Popcorn....yum! What a hit with the kids. Good idea Janna.
Then bright and early on Monday morning Avery started swimming lessons.
Kayla and Kristen Rodhe give them privatly in the grandparents indoor pool. Avery can barely touch the bottom even on her tiptoes :) Her Dad thought she was too young for lessons but I disagreed since she's NOT afraid of the water I thought it was time for some lessons.
Blowing bubbles.
Learning to float on her back.
Practicing kicking. She's only had 2 lessons so far and she's doing AWESOME!
On her 2nd lessons she took off and started floating on her back by herself and swimming on her back too!
I'm so impressed with how well she is progressing and SO glad I went ahead and signed her up for lessons! She has 3 more and I can't wait to see what she will learn plus it gives me an idea too on what to help her with the rest of the summer.
Some down time at home for Avery to play with her toys. I used to have pebbles vs sand and I may be regretting getting sand! Avery thought the sand should smell since it was pink...I thought that was funny.
Tomorrow is picture day for Avery and we are going to someone new, if I can I will post some proofs I will but I know last year I couldn't copy them to post them.

Jody! Love the post. Avery is so stinkin' beautiful! Actually...all three of the kids are--Kaid, Avery and Kason! I can't get over it. Avery seems like a little fire cracker--I love it! :)
Avery looks so grown up in that purple shirt! You got some great pics of the birthday party - I love the mommy smooch on the cheek one - and yes, the aftermath was even funnier!
Janna, Jen (Nat's mommy) think she looked like Kaid in that purple shirt.
I can burn another CD with Kason's bday pics if you want.....I have more that I didn't put on the blog. I know how it is when you are the hostess (with the mostess) ;)
