Flower Power!

Avery is a nut!!!!! Notice she is eating popcorn.......at 8:30AM!!!! She did eat some cheerios and blueberries but then spotted Daddy's popcorn! She would eat popcorn 24/7! The second picture is her new trick.

Later in the day Avery and I went swimming.....these are Mimi's flowers, even though it's the end of August she still has some beautiful flowers! The colors are amazing!

I forgot to go to the front of the house and this is the only picture I have of her flowers in the front......Josh was playing on her rocks with his remote control jeep!

Slip Sliding Away!

The slide was slippery from my wet bathing suit and SOOOOOOOO much fun! Weeee!

I found out tonight that Avery LOVES Bing Cherries! "Nummy! Nummy!" she says as she's shoving them in her mouth!

Then she found dirt..............LOVES that too!

Hair and Fair

So I got my hair done today by Lindsey Mays. I'm not sure I like it this dark. I wanted to go dark for the fall/winter season AND when I go dark I don't have to get it done as often :) Josh doesn't like it - he didn't say that but I know he likes blond hair. I guess when you haven't had it colored since May 2nd and the sun has bleached it out it's going to be shock to have it dark again. What do you think???????! Be honest! Lindsey said if it's too dark she'll put in some lighter hi-lites. I know it fades fast so I just may leave it.




After my hair appointment Avery, mom and I went to the Fair for lunch.

Daddy was hard at work in the Lion's Club Booth.


Avery saw the snow cone machine right beside the Lion's Club Booth and so Daddy had to get her one. This kid LOVES ice!


Mommy LOVES ice cream...........so does Avery :)


Then we stopped to look at some of the animals, and this nice man let Avery pet his Rooster. She was so tickled with herself.

Holmes County Fair

Avery had her 1st Fair experience. She loved all the animals! Daddy wouldn't let her ride any rides but I bet she would have loved them too! We went with Janna, Kaid and Kason and Mimi and Pop-Pop came later. We also saw Sammie and Nathan.


As you can see Avery was NOT afraid to touch the animals............

We're not tired.......honest!

Avery's Baptisim

What a beautiful day for Avery to get baptized. She looked so pretty and did so good. When Pastor Tom took her she brushed against his microphone and she said "what's that?". We didn't take pictures during the baptizing (since I was told we shouldn't) but thanks to Rachel's mom Sandy she took some :) Thanks for sharing!




My Dad was there and brought his mom my Grandma (Eva Crilow), my mom, Art, Proper's and Aunt Janna, Kaidrie and Kason.


This is Audrey Miller (Joe and Rachel Miller's daughter) she got baptized too!


I'm glad the girls got to share this special moment in their lives!
