Wet n Wild Weekends!

Dog Days and Lazy Days of Summer are finally here....hooray! We've had some hot, hot weekends.

Got Avery's sprinkler out on Saturday, July 9th and she had fun running playing with it!

Another day in the sprinkler.

Then Sunday, July 10th, we spent the day at Proper's Pool!

Daddy and Avery doing new tricks.

and having fun with Mimi! Did you notice it's the SAME day but Miss Avery has on a different swimsuit on? Yup not only do we change clothes several times a day now I guess we have to change swimsuits too!

When Avery was 2 I'd say this was her saying to everybody and then when she'd get in trouble she try to change the subject and say "There is a frog in the swimming pool, isn't that so silly?!" or when she was on the phone she'd end with "There is a frog in the swimming pool....bye!"

Our friends, Josh and Rachel, came to Proper's in the evening to look at some furniture and brought their puppy, Brutus and he couldn't STAND that Avery was in the pool. They said he doesn't like water..........

and as soon as he'd get in he'd get right back out!

Julia called to let us know Isaiah and his Aunt were coming for a swim on Friday, July 15th so Avery and I came up so they could play. I guess they do need to get to know each other better if they are planning on getting married.....according to Isaiah, Avery is his Princess and he's going to marry her :)

MMMMMM.....ice cream!

Celebration of Eva Marvene Crilow!

I am very blessed to have had my Grandparents in my life for as long as I have. My Gpa Crilow died Oct. 8, 1999, Gma Immel July 6, 2006, Gpa Immel Aug. 31, 2008 and now Gma Crilow July 9, 2011. I was the closest with my Gma Crilow and will always remember everything she taught me (well except crocheting!) and all the times we stayed with her and Gpa on the Farm! I've dreaded this day but yet I knew over the last couple of years that Gma was ready to go. With her eye sight and hearing failing she had some long lonely days I'm sure! She lived a long wonderful life and I'm so happy to have called her my Grandma!

Some pictures of my visits to Gma Crilow in her later years:

Meeting her Great-Granddaughter, Avery Elizabeth Proper, 3 days old, 6.18.2007. One of the reasons I picked the name Avery because the 1st 3 letters of her name is EVA backwards :)

Her last Christmas that she could travel (2007). Gma with her 2 eldest grandchildren and 2 of her great-grandchildren.

Gma with 6mo old Avery.

Gma also got to come to Avery's Baptism in Aug. 2008 (not sure why the camera date says 2007).

A visit in Oct. 2008.

She just loved when we would come to visit.

We visited Gma and had lunch with her on her 94th Bday. 3.27.2009.

In Aug. 2009 with 3 of her great-grandchildren.

Visiting Gma in the Hospital on Feb. 6, 2010.

Helping Gma celebrate her 95th Bday! 3.27.2010.

Giving her words of wisdom.

The last picture I have of my Gma b/c she didn't want me to take anymore pictures of her when I visited....said she didn't look fit btw she did! Oct. 30, 2010.

BTW she is 95 1/2 yrs old in this pictures (10.20.10)and STILL has lots of black hair....thanks for the great genes on the hair...I'm 41 and still no gray :)

March 27, 1915-July 9, 2011. I did get the see her on her Birthday, March 27, 2011 and tell her our good news of my pregnancy. She is so worried about my health but assured her EVERYTHING is going well so far. On a side note in one of her memories to me she wrote her mother was 41 when she gave birth to her (Eva)! WOW! That was ancient back then for childbirth! Gma was the youngest of 8 children. My last visit was Thursday, July 7 and it literally took my breath away when I walked into her room to see her so lifeless, she didn't respond to me. I know you got your wish Gma just hard for those of left behind. Hugs and Kisses.....till we meet again!

Avery's 4 yr pictures!

Better late then never! Like I said all of June and the 1st week of July were jammed packed and I finally had time to go and pick up Avery's pictures. I can't believe our baby has turned 4 yrs old on June 13th!!! WOW! I was stressing again since I had to find another photographer, the one I had picked last year moved further away, her studio wouldn't be set up till July and she's having her 3rd baby in Sept. and I will want a maternity shoot in Oct. and newborn pics in Nov. SO the search and inquiries began! I found some great photographers but oh my were they EXPENSIVE! I know pictures are an investment but we couldn't afford their prices! After weeks of searching I came across Vanessa Hoffmann/Giggle Monster Photography and LOVED her work and better yet her prices! She talked me into purchasing the CD from A's session, something I've never done before, and bought a package and had her print those.

"WOW! I know! Can you believe I'm 4?!"

Goofy girl!

The photographer took these too but I did my own editing :) and LOVE that she talked me into purchasing the CD so now I can edit how I want (w/o paying the $5.00 per pic editing fee) and print the ones I want and that others want while saving money :)

Here's to another year Miss Avery! We love you yesterday, today and tomorrow too!

The Rest of our Red, White & Boom Wkend!

We got to spend the rest of the 4th of July weekend at Proper's swimming and then got invited to our friend's house for dinner and fireworks. Thanks again Tab and Jarrod, we had a great time!

Girls happy to see each other.

Catching lightening bugs.

Her first experience with a sparkler and she was POUTING b/c she didn't get the pink one so she didn't let herself enjoy it! Oh my!

BF's waiting for the fireworks to start.

We headed back to Proper's on the 4th for more swimming and Nana came up for 5 hours and swam and swam and swam. Everyone got in the pool that day it was another hot one!

Mimi has humming birds that like to visit her pretty flowers.

Daddy & Pop-Pop got some 4th of July stuff to play with. This shot out strings of confetti.

Strings that you pull and the go POP!

Mimi can make the biggest bubbles :)

20 weeks on 7.5.11! Halfway already! Got a call on July 6th the 2nd blood test I did on June 30th came back negative (tests again for downs', trisomy 18 & 21 and other stuff)....yea!

The pool felt so good!

Miss A started swimming to the bottom of the pool AND taught herself how to do a front somersault in the water! She is truly part fish like her mama :)

Mimi & Avery searching for ????? don't recall the name of the plants that pop.
