Valentine's Day 2011!

I decided to make Avery's Valentine's Day cards for her PreSchool class. She got to help glue, decorate and signed each and every card...13 of them!


I'm so impressed that she can write her name all by herself! She has some trouble with the R but as of Feb. 16th she can now make an R! SO proud of her!

What can I say???? Best I could think of!

So we've been having separation anxiety issues since end of Dec. She started crying for my mom. It started out mom could talk her out of crying but one day she couldn't and I had to leave work to go and get her, then she started it with Julia and then Josh and last week at school!!!!! I just couldn't believe it b/c she use to cry when she DIDN'T get to go to School! She has NEVER acted this way and the only thing that has changed is I have been home with her more since one of my jobs is slow. At first you feel sympathetic, then guilty, then mad! WE have tried just about everything and last week we had to take her barbie's away and her tv time! She cries as soon as she wakes up and normally quits after I'm gone, Monday (VALENTINE'S DAY was the worst day for her at school! Cried a lot and didn't even eat her lunch (she's NEVER done that)! Her teacher knew we took things away so she did too, got her recess taken away but she didn't care! Then Tues she didn't cry at my mom's, yea but on Wed. morning 7:20 up and crying before school and then her teacher had a stern talk with her and told her what all was going to happen if she kept crying (recess, snacks, surprises out of the treasure chest all those things would be taken away!) and after 10 mins she quite crying! She promised me and her teacher she would not cry at school on Monday......let's hope this phase is OVER b/c I.AM.SO.OVER.IT! It's nice to be missed but this is getting ridiculous!

Mmmmmm my yummy meal I made just for me since Josh is working late! It was called Chicken with wine.

Avery had asked me what her jammies said and I replied "My heart belongs to Daddy" and she said "no it doesn't, my heart belongs to me and why is Daddy's name on my jammie's they are MY jammies?!" haha!

This is what we got Avery for Valentine's Day! Normally I only do candy but she didn't need ANY more candy, Easter is coming up and I had gotten these jammies last year after Easter and her cousin, Kaid, is having a Bday in March with a kitty theme and her Aunt Janna spied this at Target on clearance for $2.98 so I HAD to get it :)

Avery has always been a good little helper! But lately she is into helping with EVERYTHING!

Train them young! :) Almost 2 yrs old.

She was 2.25 yrs old here and she still loves to help me put clothes in the washer and dryer.

LOVES, LOVES, LOVES helping me cook!

Her latest task she took on and now thinks we need to do it every day is sweeping. With having a wood burner and a Daddy who eats popcorn almost every night we could be sweeping every day!

Again she loves to help me cook. She also loves to help me empty the dishwasher (so far she hasn't broke anything!), clean off the table, dress herself. I just wonder why it's so hard to get her to clean up her toys though.....hmmmmm.........It's fun having a helper!

Disney's Princesses On Ice!

Well the day FINALLY came (we got our tickets over a month ago! Thanks again Janna for getting a great deal!) I normally don't tell Avery what we are doing till the day of...those of you with or have had young children know why!!! But she's been going through a phase lately of being a mama's girl and so I told her if she didn't cry when Nana or Mimi watched her she would get to go to Princesses on Ice.....no more could I play the Santa card so this had to do! Anyway you know...is it time yet, can we go now, etc., etc. so I made Avery color a picture of a Princess and then we made tabs to pull off each night...that helped!


Our little Amish girls getting ready to start the day. They wanted to wear their princess dresses complete with accessories from head to toe but we vetod that and said they could wear a skirt, but it was SO cold so leggings and boots were a must! We then went shopping...ok not going to lie...we had 3 kids so I just made my returns at Easton (which was all I needed to do anyway), then we had a yummy dinner at O'Charley's, then dropped Kason off at Randy's work THEN headed to the Arena.


We got there plenty early so just wasting time with some pictures.

The girls! They did so good with how long we had to wait (we got there an hour early).

Just a few pictures of the shows and some video's.....mainly for Avery's sake...lol! We have to look at the pictures and watch the video's over and over and over again! Avery knew all the Prince and Princesses (except Mulan....I think - I had to google it! ha!) b/c I have a ton of Walt Disney Books we read every day and a ton of Disney VHS tapes.....that's right I said VHS tapes :)

The Finale

I give up on uploading the 2nd part of the finale video! Tried 2x's yesterday....and uploaded again this morning and it's still not done! Maybe it's too long for the blog I don't know!

We stayed overnight at Mast's since the show wasn't over till 9pm. The girls sleeping in sleeping bags....well one of them lasted in the sleeping bag all night and it wasn't Avery!!

Poor Mr. Kason....the abuse he takes from his Daddy! I had to laugh what his mommy said "he's not a copy he's an original!"
