Summertime 2009!

Well summer is almost over (man it sure went fast but then again we didn't have a very warm summer this year!) Just some miscellaneous shots from Aug. 2009.

Avery and I spent a few hours alone at Proper's Pool.

I can't tell you the name of these flowers but they had a ton of the wood boring bees all over them and the bees were covered with pollen. Can you spot the bee?

Holmes County Fair 2009

Well we made it to the Holmes County Fair. I really didn't want to go but it was fun to see Avery enjoying herself and I didn't mind the distraction. She had a BLAST! She is just growing up too fast. She got to ride the rides this year and all by herself except I rode the carousel with her. I wasn't sure how'd she do since she never rode a ride in her life but she LOVED them. She loved all the animals again and couldn't get enough!

Yes the Holmes County Fair even had a camel.

Again she is so tickled at all the animals!

Aunt Jonna hung around with us for a bit and we saw a friend I went to school with and her daughter let Avery pet her horse then Avery asked to ride it!!!

She only got to sit on it and said "that was fun!"

So we thought we'd let her ride the ponies and she wasn't happy when the ride was over!

Then onto the dinosaurs. She loved it!

When we were riding the carosuel she kept saying "go higher horsey!"

Then onto the motorcycles. She had to sit in the back since she wasn't tall enough to ride in the front seat.

We ended the night with ice cream!! YUM!

BIG Changes.........

Well as of Monday we will officially be landlords (or hope to be!) We had the opportunity to buy our neighbor's house. We signed the papers today but it won't be recorded until Monday. If you know of anyone that needs a house to rent send them our way :)

Hi everyone! I just wanted to let you know what a BIG girl I am.....I'm in my BIG girl room, I'm going potty more regularly AND I gave up my bottle (well I didn't mommy took it away...Avery was only getting one in morning and one at night but it was WAY past time for her to be off the bottle) AND her biggest BIG girl role yet...........................................

Isn't that so funny!! Mommy is having a baby 4.9.2010!! I'm 6 weeks today and feel fine, besides the "normal" symptoms but thank goodness so far no morning sickness (I didn't have any with Avery either). I had my 1st Dr.'s appt. last Fri. and have my next one on Sept. 3rd which they will do my 1st ultra sound to make sure the baby is ok! Needing every prayer I can get since you know the older women get the more negatives that are against us! Ok think that's all for now :)

I did it!

At the beginning of summer it didn't take Avery long to jump in the pool by herself.......well then Daddy and Pop-Pop were throwing her around and she went under one to many times so she hasn't jumped in by herself for quite awhile.....till today her and I went swimming and I was catching her and she said "I jump myself"...and she did!

So Sealy!

Hall's got Avery this seal sprinkler and ball for her Birthday in June and it's FINALLY been hot enough for her to play with it! She had a ball ;)

Marilyn's 80th Surprise Party!

We got invited to Marilyn's Surprise 80th Bday Party tonight. I'm so glad the rain held off for her....she was surprised!
